We stock Australia's leading shed brands including Easyshed, Absco, and Spanbilt. All are manufactured in Australia from high-tensile steel and meet Australian Standards. Each brand has slightly different assembly systems, colour options, and size ranges — our team can help you choose the right one for your needs.

Most small garden sheds installed at a standard suburban home are exempt from requiring a council permit, but this varies by council and by shed size. As a general rule, structures over 10m² are more likely to require approval. We recommend checking with your local council before ordering, especially for larger sheds or garages. Better to ask first than face a removal order later.

A good way to figure this out is to mark out your proposed shed dimensions on the ground with tape or chalk and check how your equipment fits within that space. Consider not just what you need to store now, but what you might need in 2–3 years. Our product pages list exact internal dimensions to help you plan.

No — most steel garden sheds are supplied without a floor. All sheds need to be anchored to a suitable base. A concrete slab is the recommended option and is required for warranty on most brands. Secured pavers (minimum 300x300x50mm) are also acceptable for smaller sheds or a timber base. The base must be level and correctly sized to manufacturer specifications.

Most sheds in our range are rated to W41N/N2, capable of withstanding winds up to 147km/h. If you live in a cyclonic area or a high-exposure coastal region, cyclone upgrade kits are available for select models (Absco Premier and Spanbilt ranges) that lift the rating to W50C/C1, suitable for winds up to 180km/h. Check your area's requirements with your local council — they often set a blanket wind classification for the whole shire.

There are many different colours available at Easyshed, and Absco and Spanbilt each have their own colour palettes. One thing to note: the channels and trim on some brands differ from the main panel colour — Absco colour products come with Surfmist channels/trims, while Spanbilt colour sheds come with zinc-coloured channels. Our sheds are available with single hinged doors, double hinged doors, single sliding doors, double sliding doors, and roller doors depending on the model. Standard Easyshed & Absco single-door sheds have a 750mm wide opening; double doors give you a 1500mm opening. Spanbilt door sizes vary by model — check the individual product pages for exact measurements.

Yes — many sheds can be optioned with skylights, sliding or louvre windows, steel shelving, anchor kits, locking door upgrades, tool holders, and cyclone kits. Available accessories depend on the brand and model. Check the product page or contact us and we'll let you know what's available for your chosen shed.

Warranty varies by brand and model, ranging from 15 years up to 30 years written warranty on selected products. All sheds must be installed according to manufacturer specifications (including anchoring to a concrete slab) for the warranty to remain valid.

Sheds are supplied as flat-pack kits, neatly boxed for transport. Delivery is available to most areas of Australia via depot for Spanbilt Sheds or home delivery. Lead times vary by brand and location; check the product page for estimated dispatch times. We recommend inspecting and checking all parts against the supplied parts list as soon as your shed arrives, and reporting any missing or damaged parts within 30 days.

This varies by size and how many people are helping. As a general guide, a standard 3x3m Absco shed takes 1–2 days with 2–4 people. Spanbilt sheds use the Fasttrack system — you build four wall panels, stand them up, connect them, then attach the roof. Absco uses the SNAP-TiTE system, which locks panels together without tools or fasteners. All sheds come with detailed 3D assembly instructions with numbered parts.

These sheds are designed for DIY assembly — the parts are numbered and the instructions are clear. That said, having 2–4 people makes the job much easier and safer, particularly for larger models.
